Georgette approached me with the idea of creating a sandal with a slightly elevated silhouette, while maintaining the comfort and simplicity of a flat-ankle strap sandal. Together, we refined the design and to achieve the desired height, I handcrafted a custom sole by incorporating a discreet wedge between the rubber sole layers. The result is a design that offers a subtle lift without compromising comfort or the clean, minimal aesthetic.
